In this final lesson of the course, you will learn how to use AI in a way that is honest, safe, kind, and smart — so that AI makes you stronger instead of replacing your own thinking.
The golden rule of the whole lesson: you stay the author and the decision-maker. AI can suggest, explain, and draft — but the responsibility for what you submit, share, or publish is always yours.
Learning goals
- Name the kinds of tasks AI is great for: explaining, practicing, brainstorming, translating — while you remain the author.
- Tell the difference between using AI to understand and passing off AI work as your own (academic honesty).
- List the personal information you should never share with a chatbot, and explain why prompts may be stored.
- Describe what deepfakes and AI misinformation are, and how to spot and respond to them.
- Apply healthy habits: verify facts, cite sources, keep your own thinking skills sharp.
- Explain why AI literacy is an advantage as professions change.
