Angle and Types of Angles (Right, Acute, Obtuse)

Mathematics Grade 2 Difficulty 2/5

Beginning of the lesson

๐Ÿ”บ Angles and Their Types! ๐Ÿ”บ

Let's learn about the corners we see everywhere!

๐Ÿค” What is an Angle?

An angle is formed when two rays (straight lines that go on forever in one direction) share the same starting point, called the vertex! The space between the two rays is the angle. ๐Ÿคฒ Imagine two arms stretching out from the same shoulder โ€” the space between them is the angle!

Think of it like this:

  • ๐Ÿšช When you open a door, you make an angle!
  • โœ‚๏ธ When scissors open, they make an angle!
  • ๐Ÿ“ The corner of your book is an angle!
Remember: An angle is the space between two lines that meet!
