Beyond-the-Table Multiplication and Division

🎉 Great job! You already know your multiplication tables (1-10). Now let's learn how to multiply and divide numbers that are NOT in those tables!

What Does "Beyond-the-Table" Mean?

Beyond-the-table means at least one number is bigger than 10, so we can't just remember the answer from our tables. We need special strategies!

Examples:
  • ✅ 12 × 3 is beyond-the-table (12 is bigger than 10)
  • ✅ 15 × 4 is beyond-the-table (15 is bigger than 10)
  • ✅ 48 ÷ 3 is beyond-the-table (48 is bigger than our basic tables)
  • ❌ 7 × 8 is NOT beyond-the-table (both are 10 or less)
