Introduction to Division

Division is a way to split things into equal groups. When we divide, we're sharing things fairly so everyone gets the same amount.

Division: Finding how many equal groups we can make or how many items go in each group when we share equally.

What Division Means

Imagine you have 12 cookies and want to share them equally with 3 friends. Division helps us figure out how many cookies each friend will get.
